About the Training We Offer
A 60-90 minute safe-space training introduces your business or organization to terminology and concepts of sexual orientation and gender identity, drawing from statistics relating to the culture, discrimination, legal status, historical context, and challenges that define, relate to, and inform the LGBTQ community increase cultural sensitivity and encourage respect and empathy.
We can tailor the training to your specific needs. Trained organizations can showcase their status as a safe space with stickers, get listed on the Cville Pride website, enjoy other promotions.
What Exactly is a “Safe Space”?
We distinguish between places that are “welcoming” and places that are “safe.”

- Under 15 employees – $50.00
- 15-25 employees – $100.00
- 26-100 employees – $150.00
NOTE: Safe-space stickers will only be given if 50% of your staff receives training.
