Parking is at a premium in downtown Charlottesville!

There are many options to arrive at our festival:

  1. By bus: The Transit Center stands right outside of the Pavilion gates. All the buses and free trolley stop here.
  2. By car, for $: Within one block of the festival are two paid parking garages. One is at Water Street, the other at East Market Street.
  3. By car, for free: If you have the ability to walk, free street parking can be found…

Accessible Parking for People with Disabilities

We have a limited number of accessible spaces reserved for festival visitors. These spaces are available at the corner of 7th St and East Market. Enter at 7th St entrance; see parking attendant for a parking pass.

Where to Enter the Festival

You can access the festival from three different points:

  • Belmont Bridge
  • Market Street & 7th
  • The Mall

The tunnel entrance from Water Street will be closed for public access during the festival.

See our message about security.

Last year, we had over 8,000 people attend over the course of the day.

The festival will take place, rain or shine.

First Aid

We have a team of medics. They will be stationed at the Visitor Center Entrance on the mall, next to the Cville Pride Main Tent.

Dogs Not Allowed

(We’re sorry! It’s Pavilion rules.)

There’s no smoking under the Pavilion tent. Please be considerate.

Your free festival wristbands entitles you to dozens of discounts at restaurants and shops around town. They’re also how we count attendance, so one wristband per person, please.

Wine and beer will be served within the festival area. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed outside of the festival area. Sales end at 6:30.
Need help? Volunteers will be wearing bright yellow.
